September 7 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices went down, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,673 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 3.6 million dinars. Dunav closed flat at 1,340 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.51% at 851.36 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.01% at 1,724.57.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 89.7 million dinars ($760,400/764,500 euro) on Wednesday, up from 11.0 million dinars on Tuesday, as 60 transactions were carried out.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 83.9 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
