August 12 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices closed down, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,500 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 2.0 million dinars. Dunav closed up 0.15% at 1,312 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.11% at 845.94 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.12% at 1,697.10.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 4.8 million dinars ($42,000/40,900 euro) on Friday, down from 8.4 million dinars on Thursday, as 89 transactions were carried out.
In the period between August 8 and 12, BELEX15 went up 0.29%, while BELEXline fell 0.06%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 299.2 million dinars, versus 2.712 billion dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 254.2 million dinars this week, down from 2.667 billion dinars last week.
