March 19 (SeeNews) - Finnish startup Wolt, part of U.S.-based food delivery company DoorDash, has started operations in Albania's capital, Tirana, with plans to broaden its presence across the country.
Wolt has partnered with some 130 businesses in the Balkan country, including local and international restaurant and fast food brands, Wolt said in a press release last week.
With the addition of Albania, Wolt now operates in 27 countries across the globe, Dimitris Karelos, Wolt’s regional manager for the Mediterranean, said.
Wolt, with headquarters in Helsinki, was established in 2014. It was fully acquired by DoorDash In 2022.
