March 15 (SeeNews) - Dutch-based industrial and logistics properties developer and manager CTP said it has appointed Daniela Boytcheva as managing director of its Bulgarian operations as of March 1.
Boytcheva joined the company as business development director in 2022, CTP said in a statement on Thursday.
She has contributed to the expansion of the business in Bulgaria, including securing a 40,000 sq m lease with supermarket chain Lidl's e-commerce and digital arm, Lidl Digital, at the company's CTPark Sofia West.
Additionally, CTP named Piotr Flugel as its managing director for Poland, the company said.
"The appointments of Piotr and Daniela will help us to build on the great 2023 we had at CTP, which saw record rental income and leases signed for almost 2 million sq m. As managing directors, Piotr and Daniela will play an important role in providing the strong leadership needed for our growing team to reach the ambitious target of 20 million sq m of gross lettable area (GLA) by the end of the decade," CTP CEO Remon Vos said.
At the end of 2023, CTP owned and operated 209,000 sq m of GLA in Bulgaria, with an additional 127,000 sq m under construction.
In December, the International Finance Corporation said it is providing a financing package of 441 million euro ($481.8 million) to CTP to help it decarbonise its operations in Bulgaria and Poland.
