April 27 (SeeNews) - Croatian alcoholic drinks and confectionery maker Zvecevo [ZSE:ZVCV-R-A] posted a first-quarter net profit of 496,500 kuna ($70,700/65,400 euro), after booking a net loss of 3.2 million kuna in the like period a year earlier.
First-quarter operating profit stood at 1.8 million kuna, compared to an operating loss of 1.9 million kuna a year earlier, the company said in a bourse filing on Friday. Pre-tax profit in the three months through March stood at 496,536 kuna versus a pre-tax loss of 3.2 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.
Zvecevo's total revenue jumped to 35.6 million kuna in the first quarter of 2015 from 27.8 million kuna a year earlier.
Total assets amounted to 388.2 million kuna at the end of March, down from 405.7 million kuna a year earlier.
According to latest available figures, Zvecevo's share capital was unchanged at 76.5 million kuna. Its total liabilities decreased to 285 million kuna from 302 million kuna a year earlier.
