November 22 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] said it has so far invested 5.5 million euro ($6.0 million) in a centralised cooking and food distribution facility in Labin, aiming to ease the operation of the kitchens at its hotels.
The catering hub spreads on 3,400 square metres and is the largest facility of its kind in Croatia, preparing up to 25,000 meals per day and employing almost 200 people, Valamar said in a press release on Tuesday.
Valamar's shares closed 0.23% higher at 4.27 euro on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
