May 2 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Tankerska Plovidba plans to make a voluntary takeover bid for the 35.49% interest it does not already own in listed peer Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], the law firm representing Tankerska in the transaction said.
Tankerska Plovidba will make the bid targeting all remaining shares in Atlantska Plovidba, on which no burden has been set, law company Mamic, Peric, Reberski, Rimac said in a statement to the Zagreb bourse on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, May 1, the bourse was closed.

Atlantska Plovidba’s capital of 83.3 million euro ($89.2 million) is distributed in 2,093,270 shares.
Atlantska Plovidba’s shares traded 15.16% higher at 52.40 euro by 1225 local time on Wednesday on the Zagreb bourse, where they were the biggest daily gainer and the most traded company intraday.
