December 8 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange advanced on Friday thanks to gains in hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] and holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2], bourse data showed.
The 20-share benchmark CROBEX climbed 0.28% to end at 2.461,58 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed at 1,504.16 points, up 0.32%.
In regular trading, Valamar was the most traded company with a turnover of 355,000 euro ($382,000) as its shares appreciated 0.69% to 4.38 euro.
Confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS] was the biggest daily gainer as its shares surged 18.81% to 120 euro in a turnover of 134,400 euro. Kras is not part of the main indices of the Zagreb bourse.
Blue-chip preferred shares of Adris rose 0.73% to 55.40 euro in a turnover of 111,100 euro.
The regular bourse turnover reached almost 1.7 million euro from 1.1 million euro on Thursday, boosted by a 582,000 euro block deal with shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR].
