August 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian car manufacturer Rimac Automobili said it has kicked off the American tour of its next-generation all-electric hypercar, Concept Two, after unveiling it in March at the Geneva International Motor Show.
Last week, the C_Two popped up in Los Angeles for a West Coast launch, before participating in the famous Monterey series of automotive events, the company announced in a statement last week.
"Featuring captivating color and trim and new wheels design, the C_Two was reimagined to tally with the vibrant Californian scene," Rimac said.
Over the course of the Monterey Car Week, Rimac will host private previews at its estate, until joining the motorsport enthusiasts and car collectors on the rolling greens of The Quail – A Motorsport Gathering on August 24.
The new Rimac invention has a top speed of 412 km/h, while its innovative battery pack in technology and layout delivers 120 kWh energy and 1.4MW of power.
The C_Two also boasts a 0 to 60 mph acceleration in 1.85 seconds, quicker than the next-generation Tesla Roadster prototype.
Sveta Nedelja-based Rimac Automobili, founded in 2009, develops and produces high-performance electric vehicles, drivetrains and battery systems.
