October 4 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Tuesday on gains in Hrvatski Telekom, Atlantska Plovidba, and Atlantic Grupa, bourse data showed.
The 22-share CROBEX gained 0.85% to end at 1,911.48 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.89% to end at 1,133.01 points.
Exchange traded fund InterCapital CROBEX10tr UCITS [ZSE:7CRO], which is not part of the main indices, was the most traded issue on the bourse on Tuesday, with a turnover of 3.4 million kuna ($451,000/452,000 euro). Its shares appreciated 0.90% to end at 112.40 kuna.
No other share generated a turnover above the one million kuna mark.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] rose 1.13% to end at 179.50 kuna in a turnover of 759,500 kuna.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] went up 6.04% to close at 404 kuna in a turnover of 670,000 kuna.
In lower turnovers, hotel owners and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] advanced 0.70%, consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] increased 1.13%, preferred shares of holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] rose 0.53% and shares of car parts maker AD Plastik surged 8.11%.
The biggest daily gainer were shares of rarely traded state-controlled flag carrier Croatia Airlines [ZSE:CRAL]. They jumped 150% to finish at 35 kuna as 15 share changed hands on the news that the company accepted an offer from aircraft manufacturer Airbus to buy six new A220 airplanes in line with its post-Covid strategy to renew its feet and improve its business efficiency.
The bourse's total trading turnover reached 8.8 million kuna from 5.3 million on Monday.
