October 6 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended higher on Thursday, for a third straight session, amidst a low turnover, bourse data showed.
The bourse's total trading turnover plunged to 2.6 million kuna ($338,000/345,000 euro) from 5.7 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 22-share CROBEX rose 0.42% to finish at 1,929.42 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.38% to close at 1,141.37 points.
Exchange traded fund InterCapital SBITOP TR UCITS [ZSE:7SLO], which is not part of the main indices, was the most traded issue on the bourse on Thursday, with a turnover of 403,000 million kuna. Its shares appreciated 0.70% to end at 129.50 kuna.
Shares of index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:TH] fell 0.84% to 177.50 kuna in a turnover of 335,100 kuna.
Among the other blue chips, shares of shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] increased 0.73%, food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] rose 1.30% and hotel owners and manager Arena Hospitality [ZSE:ARNT] increased 2.59% in lower turnovers.
