November 10 (SeeNews) - Croatian confectionery producer Kras Group [ZSE:KRAS] said on Friday it has entered the Bulgarian market in partnership with Bulgarian distribution company Delion.
"Kras continuously works on improvement of its export potential and so at the end of 2022 it singed a distribution deal with Bulgarian company Delion," Kras said in an emailed statement to SeeNews.
Kras currently exports its Dorina chocolate brand to the Bulgarian market.
The company pointed to plans to export of various Kras items in addition to Dorina. However, no specific financial details regarding exports to Bulgaria were provided.
Kras stands as one of Croatia's leading exporters, with more than half of its sales attributed to exports. Its products are available in more than 35 countries worldwide.
Delion, which is part of Bulgarian VM Finance Group, has 20 year experience in imports, marketing and distribution of spirits, wine and tobacco products in Bulgaria.
Shares of Kras traded 5.56% higher at 95 euro intraday on Friday on the Zagreb bourse.
