September 23 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Croatia dropped by an annual 10.1% to 5,951 in the first eight months of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Friday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 13.7% on the year to 4,818 vehicles in the January-August period, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes totalled 978, up 5.5% ont he year.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 18.8% year-on-year to 1.051 million in the first eight months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 10.2% lower at 153,288.
