March 28 (SeeNews) - Croatia's industrial sales rose by 0.3% on the year in January, following a revised increase of 14.1% in December, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
In January sales of capital goods increased by 8.0%, sales of non-durable consumer goods rose by 6.3%, while energy sales decreased by 31.5% on an annual comparison basis, the statistical office said in a monthly report. Sales of durable consumer goods dropped 12.9% and sales of intermediate goods declined 1.7%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial sales fell by 7.5% in January, after a revised increase of 4.7% in December.
Industrial sales in the Adriatic country increased 4.0% on the year in 2023, the same statistical has said earlier.
