June 17 (SeeNews) - Croatian civil engineering company IGH Institute said on Monday it will sign a 3.43 million euro ($3.85 million) deal for the design study of a motorway in Romania.
The Romanian National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration, CNAIR, has selected IGH in cooperation with Romanian engineering firm Constructii to carry out the design and the completion of works on the new 26-km motorway section between Barcau and Bors in north-western Romania, IGH said in a Zagreb bourse filing.
The cost of the whole project is 76.4 million euro with the bulk of the money coming from EU funds.
IGH said that the design project should be completed within six months, while construction works will last 24 months.
