March 12 (SeeNews) - Croatian civil engineering company IGH Institute said it has signed two contracts worth a total of 11.7 million kuna ($1.7 million/1.5 million euro) with the country's motorway operator Hrvatske Ceste.
Under a contract worth 9.35 million kuna, VAT excluded, IGH will carry out geodetic studies for the construction of the Brestovac Pozeski - Godinjak fast road, IGH said in a statement on Monday.
The 14.8 km road with a 1,690 metre-long tunnel will connect the town of Pozega, in the east of the country, to the A3 motorway.
The works should be completed in 18 months.
The second contract, worth 2.35 million kuna, excluding VAT, refers to the preparation of project documentation for the reconstruction of the Sirina crossing in the coastal town of Solin. The work on the documents should be completed within a year.
