July 31 (SeeNews) - Zagreb-based Erste&Steiermaerkische Bank said on Wednesday its consolidated group net profit fell to 428 million kuna ($64.6 million/58 million euro) in the first half of 2019, from 596 million kuna in the like period of last year.
The group's net interest income decreased by 3.3% to 1.02 billion kuna, while net fee and commission income added 7.9% to 369 million kuna, Erste&Steiermaerkische said in its first-half 2019 unaudited financial report filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
The group's total assets rose to 73.5 billion kuna at the end of June, from 69.7 billion kuna at the end of 2018.
Erste&Steiermaerkische Bank is the parent company of the banking group which includes the following subsidiaries: Erste Factoring, Erste&Steiermaerkische S-Leasing, Erste Nekretnine, Izbor Nekretnina, Erste Card Club and Erste Group IT HR in Croatia, Erste Bank AD Podgorica in Montenegro, Erste Card in Slovenia, and Diners Club International Mak in North Macedonia.
