January 18 (SeeNews) - Croatia's energy and logistics group Energia Naturalis (ENNA) has acquired 2,848 ordinary shares of port operator Luka Ploce, thus exceeding the 25% controlling stake that obliges it to publish a takeover bid for the company, Luka Ploce said on Friday.
Prior the acquisition of the new shares on January 16, ENNA held 105,514 ordinary shares representing 24.95% interest in Luka Ploce. ENNA now owns 25.62% of the voting rights and is obliged to publish a bid for the takeover of the remaining 314,065 shares, Luka Ploce said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).

ENNA must obtain the approval of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) in order to do so.
The ZSE removed Luka Ploce from the blue-chip CROBEX index in March 2018 because the company's shares had not met the conditions to stay.
ENNA manages some 20 companies within the group. It does business in many sectors, primarily distribution and supply of natural gas, trading in oil products, renewable energy sources, spreading all the way to information technology, transport and investments.
