April 12 (SeeNews) - Norwegian power system operator Statnett has picked an offer of Croatian power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] for the construction of a 420 kV transmission line in Norway, Dalekovod said on Friday.
The value of the construction works to be carried out by the end of 2022 is estimated at about 52 million euro ($58.8 million) and the contract will be signed after Statnett's final investment decision has been confirmed, Dalekovod said in a statement.
The 89 km-long transmission line will connect the Skillemoen and Skaidi substations in northern Norway and will be built in Arctic weather conditions, Dalekovod said.
As at 15:28 CET on Friday, Dalekovod shares traded 5.92% higher at 6.80 euro on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
