September 13 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia fell by 2.6% on the year to 775 in July, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The number of permits issued for buildings fell 4.0% year-on-year to 667 in July, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects rose 6.9% to 108, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in July, 625 covered new construction projects, while 150 were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in July, 1,391 dwellings are planned to be built, up 21.6% on the year.
The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 12.2% year-on-year to 10,553 in 2021.
