September 12 (SeeNews) - Croatian wholesaler and retailer of construction materials and equipment Brodomerkur [ZSE:BDMR] said on Monday it will propose to its shareholders to skip dividend payment for last year.
The company's net profit of 220,600 kuna ($29,700/29,300 euro) reported for 2021 will be used to cover part of losses transferred from previous years, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
The shareholders will vote on the proposal on October 14.
Last year they decided to cover the company's loss of 7.8 million kuna for 2020 from retained profit, reserves and future profit.
Brodomerkur's shares last traded on the Zagreb bourse on March 22, when they closed at 142 kuna, down 8.39%.
