August 21 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Wednesday, as shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] led the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Atlantska Plovidba's shares closed 5.48% higher at 462 kuna.
Telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip losers, as its shares fell 2.78% to 5.25 kuna.
Plastic goods producer AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Wednesday, of 727,829 kuna. Its shares closed unchanged at 172 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover halved to 3.5 million kuna ($525,830/473,822 euro), from 6.9 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX rose by 0.29% to 1,881.46 after falling 0.13% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.44% to 1,095.80 after losing 0.43% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index rose 0.31% to 116.4810.
