October 31 (SeeNews) - Croatian sugar producer Viro's [ZSE:VIRO] consolidated net profit rose to 97.2 million kuna ($14.5 million/13 million euro) in the first nine months of 2019, from 25.1 million kuna a year earlier, the company said on Thursday.
Consolidated total revenue added 23.9% on the year to 608.9 million kuna in January-September, while total expenses rose 9.7% to 511.6 million kuna, Viro said in an interim financial statement filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
The company's total assets edged up to 1.116 billion kuna at the end of September, from 1.110 billion kuna at the end of 2018.
Viro's shares traded at 96 kuna by 1507 CET on the ZSE on Thursday, down 3.03%.
