August 12 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Friday, as shares of food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] paced the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Podravka advanced 1.69% to 600 kuna on Friday. Its shares generated the highest turnover on the bourse - 1.2 million kuna ($163,800/159,700 euro), ZSE data showed.
At the other end, shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the sole decliner among the blue chips, with shares going down 0.90% to 442 kuna.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, rose 0.42% to end at 2,006.09 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, edged up 0.59% to close at 1,196.71 points.
The bourse's total trading turnover dropped to 5.3 million kuna on Friday from 6 million kuna on Thursday.
