August 3 (SeeNews) - A rebound in shares of index heavyweight Ericsson Nikola Tesla pushed higher the main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Wednesday despite a lower total turnover, a bourse data showed.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, gained 0.43% to end at 1,961.66 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.36% to close at 1,170.45 points.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the most traded stock on Wednesday with a turnover of almost 452,000 kuna ($61,000/60,000 euro). Its shares ended flat at 422 kuna.
Car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] was the second most traded stock with a turnover of 434,000 kuna. Its shares plunged 2.53% to finish the trading session at 84.80 kuna.
ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] appreciated 2.76% to end at 1,490 kuna in a turnover of 200,500 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover was more than halved, at some 3 million kuna, from 7.3 million kuna on Tuesday.
