August 30 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) extended their losses on Tuesday for a second day in a row, as the daily turnover kept on falling, bourse data showed.
The bourse's total trading turnover slumped to 2.1 million kuna ($280,000/280,000 euro) from 3.2 million kuna on Monday.
The 22-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, declined 0.32% to end at 1,998.29 points. The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.54% to finish at 1,196.70 points.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded stock on Tuesday with a turnover of 825,000 kuna. Its shares edged 0.27% lower to close at 185.50 kuna.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], ranked second by turnover with some 370,000 kuna. Its shares shed 3.46% to end at 391 kuna.
In lower turnover, blue chip food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] fell 0.68% to finish the trading session at 584 kuna.
