April 2 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended mixed on Tuesday amidst gains in Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] and losses in Podravka [ZSE:PODR] and HPB [ZSE:HPB], bourse data showed.
The regular turnover fell to 1.4 million euro ($1.5 million) from 1.7 million euro on Thursday. On Friday and Monday the bourse was closed due to the Easter holidays.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX added 0.03% to close at 2,835.44 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.31% to 1,707.86 points.
Shares of hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera generated the biggest daily turnover, 291,000 euro, as they appreciated 1.16% to 5.24 euro.
Food and pharmaceuticals manufacturer Podravka declined 0.63% to 159 euro in a turnover of 197,000 euro on the news that it has proposed a dividend of 3.20 euro per share.
The biggest daily gainers were shares of its power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori (Koncar D&ST) [ZSE: KODT2, KODT]. Its preferred shares rose 4.48% to 1,400 euro in a turnover of 145,000 euro. Its ordinary shares also increased 4.48% to 1,400 euro in a turnover of 92,000 euro. The company’s ordinary shares are part of the wider index.
Shares of Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) shed 5.08% to 224 euro in a turnover of 76,400 euro.
