March 18 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell amidst losses in index heavyweights Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] and food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR], bourse data showed on Monday.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX went down 0.82% to close at 2,773.56 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.53% to close at 1,677.85 points.
Shares of electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] were the most traded stock in regular trading, with a turnover of 367,000 euro ($399,000).They ended flat at 256 euro.
Ordinary shares of its subsidiary, power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori (Koncar D&ST) [ZSE: KODT] dropped 7.09% to 1,310 euro in a turnover of 261,000 euro. As of Monday, they replaced as component of the wider equity index the preferred shares of Koncar D&ST [ZSE: KODT2], following a regular revision of the CROBEX held earlier in March.
Shares of hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] added 0.81% to 5.00 euro in a turnover of 193,000 euro.
In lower turnovers, shares of Hrvatski Telekom and Podravka fell 1.01% and 0.31%, respectively, to 29.50 euro and 161 euro.
Total regular turnover reached 2.5 million euro from just 1.2 million euro on Friday boosted by trading with government bonds and a 272,000 euro block deal with ordinary shares of holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS].
