February 11 (SeeNews) - State-controlled flag carrier Croatia Airlines [ZSE:CRAL-R-A] said on Tuesday it will launch regular flights connecting Zagreb to Montenegro's Podgorica and Bulgaria's Sofia this summer.
The first flight on the route to Sofia is scheduled for May 1, while the last take-off will take place at the end of October, Croatia Airlines said in an e-mailed statement.
The service to the Bulgarian capital will take place three times per week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tickets are available on the company's website, starting from 139 euro ($151.8) for return flights, the statement reads.
On the other hand, the service to the Montenegrin capital Podgorica will be launched on May 3, with three weekly flights - on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, the airline said without providing the date of its last Zagreb-Podgorica flight for this summer.
Tickets are available on the airline's website from 119 euro for return flights.
Both routes will be operated by Dash 8-Q400 planes with 76 seats.
In summer 2020, Croatia Airlines will fly to 40 destinations in 26 countries, it said.
