TIRANA (Albania), March 12 (SeeNews) – Albania’s health ministry said that is has confirmed four new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), as their number reached 15.
To date, the ministry has conducted a total of 241 tests for suspected cases of coronavirus, it said in a press release late on Wednesday.
The situation of all patients who tested positive is stable, the ministry added.
Earlier on Wednesday, the ministry confirmed the first death from coronavirus. The first coronavirus case in Albania was confirmed on March 9.
On Tuesday, Albania’s government decided to suspend all flights and passenger ferry services to Italy in an attempt to curb the spread of the disease.
