September 13 (SeeNews) - Chinese company Yanfeng Automotive Interiors has started the construction of a factory in Kragujevac, central Serbia, the city government said.
The company expects to launch production operations at the new factory at the end of 2019, the Kragujevac city government said in a press release on Thursday.

The factory will have a footprint of 18,500 square metres and a workforce of 200.
With the new manufacturing site, Yanfeng is expanding its production capacity in the Eastern European markets and responding to the growing presence of customers in the region, the company's vice president for Europe and South Africa Tony Elenbaas said.
Yanfeng has about 110 manufacturing plants and technical centers in 20 countries and more than 33,000 employees globally, according to data from its corporate website.
