January 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian thermal power plant (TPP) Bobov Dol [BUL:TC8A] said on Wednesday that its non-consolidated net profit fell to 506,000 levs ($295,000/259,000 euro) in 2018 compared to 672,000 levs the year before.
The plant's revenue declined to 108 million levs last year from 129.3 million levs in 2017, TPP Bobov Dol said in an annual financial statement.
TPP Bobov Dol's expenses decreased to 107.5 million levs in 2018 from 128.5 million levs a year earlier, after a drop in expenses for materials.
The plant sold 1,891,109 MWh of electricity and 1,488,473 MWh of operating reserve in 2018.
Bobov Dol, established in 2000, is a coal-fired power plant located in the Kyustendil region, in southwestern Bulgaria, with an installed capacity of 630 megawatts. In 2008, the government sold Bobov Dol TPP to local consortium Energy MK, which remains its sole owner.
