July 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car dealer Toyota Balkans said that its net profit increased to 5.5 million levs ($3.1 million/2.8 million euro) in 2018 from 4.4 million levs the year before.
Toyota Balkans' sales grew to 321.4 million levs last year from 275.5 million levs in 2017, the company said in an annual financial statement.

The company sold 3,739 Toyota and Lexus vehicles in 2018, up from 3,447 in 2017.
Cost of goods sold rose to 307.0 million levs from 263.2 million levs.
Administrative expenses edged up to 6.4 million levs from 5.6 million levs.
Toyota Balkans' assets increased sharply, to 117.4 million levs at the end of 2018 from 71.7 million levs a year earlier, as claims from clients grew to 68.0 million levs from 24.7 million levs.
