September 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Telelink Business Services Group, or TBS Group, [BUL:TBS] said on Wednesday that its shareholders approved a dividend of 0.81 levs (0.41 euro) per share for the first half of 2022, slightly less than the payout of 0.82 levs distributed a year earlier.
TBS will pay out a total of 10.13 million levs ($ 5.13 million/5.18 million euro) as dividend for the first half of this year, the company said in a bourse filing. The sum includes 2.43 million of the group’s net profit for 2021 and 7.7 million levs of the profit reported for the first half of 2022.
Wednesday's decision comes after TBS Group's shareholders approved in June a proposal to skip dividend for the second half of 2021.
According to TBS Group's financial report, its standalone net profit inched down to 12.88 million levs in the first half of 2022 from 12.97 million levs in the same period of last year. Sales revenue fell 19% year-on-year to 762,000 levs due to fewer service activities to the group's main subsidiary.
By 1721 CEST on Wednesday, shares in TBS traded 0.37% higher at 13.50 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
