September 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] said on Thursday that its pre-tax profit increased by 22% on the year in the first seven months of 2022, to 18.6 million levs ($9.45 million/9.51 million euro) .
Sales revenue grew by 13% year-on-year in January-July period, reaching 610.4 million levs, Sopharma Trading said in a stock exchange filing.
In July alone, the company’s pre-tax profit reached 2.41 million levs, up by 30% in annual terms, as sales rose by 24% to 92.6 million levs.
Sopharma Trading is a unit of Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA], which held a stake 83.24% in the company at the end of June.
As at 1634 CEST on Thursday, Sopharma Trading's shares traded 3.92% higher at 5.30 levs on the Sofia bourse.
