August 4 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] said that its pre-tax profit increased by 20% on the year to 16.2 million levs ($8.4 million/8.3 million euro) in the first six months of 2022.
Sopharma Trading's sales revenue rose by an annual 12% in the same period, reaching some 517.9 million levs, the company said in a trading update last week.
In June alone, the company's pre-tax profit jumped 40% year-on-year to 3.4 million levs, as revenue increased 17% to 90.9 million levs.
Shares in Sopharma Trading closed 1.22% higher at 4.96 levs on Wednesday, Sofia bourse data showed.
