August 13 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.04% higher at 582.16 on Tuesday supported by a rebound in the share price of diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:3JR], bourse data showed.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria shares added 2.00% to 1.02 levs ($0.58/0.52 euro) on Tuesday, recovering from their 1.96% drop on Monday.
Among other blue-chip gainers were Gradus [BUL:GR6] and Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH]. Their share prices increased by 0.88% to 1.72 levs and by 0.50% to 2.00 levs, respectively.
Eurohold Bulgaria said earlier on Tuesday its consolidated operating revenue rose by 31% year-on-year to 786.5 million levs ($450.0 million/402.1 million euro) in the first half of 2019. The group's consolidated net profit, excluding non-controlling interest, edged down to 4.0 million levs in the period under review, from 4.1 million levs in the corresponding period of 2018.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, added 0.05% to 114.24 points, mostly backed by a rise in the share price of Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:6SOA].
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.16% to 506.93 points as Monbat [BUL:5MB] led gainers.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, was the only Sofia bourse index to close lower on Tuesday. It decreased 0.08% to 126.70 points, dragged down by a drop in the share price of Aktiv Properties REIT [BUL:5AX].
Total trading turnover on the regulated market fell to 1.3 million levs on Tuesday from 3.4 million levs on Monday.
