October 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian civil engineering company Nivel Stroy has signed a 2.9 million levs ($1.6 million/1.5 million euro) contract with Ihtiman municipality for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of water supply infrastructure, the municipal council said on Friday.
The contract envisages the prevention of malfunctions of the water supply infrastructure in the town of Ihtiman, 50 km east of Sofia, the municipal council said in a notice.
The deal was inked on September 26.
The public procurement procedure for awarding the contract attracted interest from four bidders.
Breznik-based Nivel Stroy's main activities include the construction of water supply and sewerage networks, of buildings and installations as well as road maintenance and construction, according to information published on its website.
The company has a registered capital of 5,000 levs and is solely owned by private investor Velko Ruikov, according to data from Bulgaria's commercial register.
