April 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian telecommunications services provider Neterra said on Tuesday that it deployed its infrastructure in the Equinix SG1 data centre in Singapore and set up a subsidiary there, Neterra APAC PTE. LTD, expanding into the Asia Pacific region.
Neterra can now provide direct data transfer routes to Singapore and the region, delivering support and telecommunications services, including intercontinental connectivity, global peering, cloud services and DDoS protection, the company said in a press release.
The new location, directly linked to the company's point of presence (PoP) in Marseille, France, will serve as a hub for innovation and customer-focused solutions. Additionally, Neterra will provide the connectivity services of its subsidiary, internet exchange platform NetIX.
Sofia-headquartered Neterra, founded in 1996, owns and operates four data centres and a global network of more than 220 PoPs across over 65 countries.
