March 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Nesebar municipality said it has relaunched a 7.3 million levs ($4.0 million/3.7 million euro) tender for reconstruction and modernisation of the fishing port in the coastal city of Nesebar after the original procedure drew no bids.
Last week, Nesebar municipality cancelled the first tender it launched in July because it failed to attract any offers.
The project, which will be implemented in two stages, benefits from EU financing under the Maritime and Fisheries Programme 2014-2020, the municipality said in a tender notice on Tuesday.
Works on the project include the construction of a breakwater with a seasonal wharf for fishing boats along with the reconstruction of the existing fishing port, the upgrade of the pavement as well as supply and fitting of port equipment.
Bids in the tender will be ranked according to price which carries 40% weight in the overall score, the duration of construction works and the period for removal of potential defects which carry weight of 30% each.
The deadline for submitting offers is April 21. All construction works must be completed within 360 days since their start.
