October 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned lignite coal mining company Mini Maritsa Iztok said on Thursday that it has opened an 11.4 million levs ($6.7 million/5.8 million euro) tender for supply of conveyor belts.
The tender is divided into three lots, envisaging supply of different types and quantities of rubber-textile conveyor belts, Mini Maritsa Iztok said in a tender notice.
The deadline for submitting offers is November 13.
Bids will be ranked solely based on price.
Mini Maritsa Iztok's coal mines, in southern Bulgaria, sell their output mainly to three thermal power plants located nearby, two of them owned by ContourGlobal and AES, and one state-owned. The two power plants owned by ContourGlobal and AES generate around 30% of Bulgaria's electricity output.
