July 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fuel trader Litex said that it turned to a consolidated net loss of 10.9 million levs ($6.3 million/5.6 million euro) in 2018 from a net profit of 1.6 million levs in 2017.
Litex booked sales of 944.8 million levs last year, sharply up from 656.8 million levs in 2017, the company said in an annual financial statement.
Cost of goods sold grew to 843.7 million levs in 2018 from 620.7 million levs the year before, while expenses for materials and hired services jumped to 97.7 million levs from 34.2 million levs.
The company's assets edged down to 173.8 million levs at the end of 2018 from 175.2 million levs a year earlier.
Litex consolidates the results of four units - Litex Gas, Litex Travel, Litex Property and Eco Power Park.
