SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 10 (SeNews) - Bulgaria's Kostinbrod municipality said on Monday that it has launched a tender for the design and construction of a facility for pretreatment of municipal solid waste and a composting installation, worth an estimated 9.5 million levs ($5.3 million/4.9 million euro), VAT excluded.
The pretreatment facility should have a capacity of 20,997 tonnes, while the composting installation should be able to handle 5,078 tonnes of waste, the municipality said in a tender notice.
The project benefits from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020.
The deadline for submitting offers is March 16.
Bid will be ranked based on price, with 50% weight, and technical criteria.
