September 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian real estate developer Interlink Grup, part of Technolink Invest, will spend a total of 70 million levs ($35.4 million/35.8 million euro) in 2022-2023 on building a new aluminium profiles plant and logistical parks in the Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ) near the city of Plovdiv, TEZ said on Wednesday.
The new facilities will span a combined area of 50,000 square metres, TEZ said in an emailed statement.
Interlink Grup has already completed an expansion of the logistics centre in Technolink Park 2 in the village of Radinovo, part of TEZ, a project in which the company invested 7.5 million levs.
The planned factory, billed as the Balkans' largest facility of its kind in the sector, will manufacture aluminium profiles for windows and facades. Interlink Grup is investing 39.7 million levs in its construction, it said in March when it broke ground for the construction of the facility where Plovdiv-based PVC profiles manufacturer Profilink, controlled by Technolink Invest, will set up production.
