March 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's industrial production rose 2.8% year-on-year in January, mainly on the back of a 16.4% annual rise in mining output, preliminary data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) showed on Friday.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, industrial output increased 3.2%, the NSI said in a statement.
Bulgaria's industrial output fell by an annual 2.9% in December and was 2.1% lower month-on-month.
