September 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Hydraulic Elements and Systems [BUL:HES] reported on Tuesday a preliminary gross profit of 8.79 million levs ($4.48 million/4.49 euro million) in the first eight months of 2022, up by an annual 43%.
In July and August, gross profit amounted to 1.72 million, the company said in a bourse filing.
Hydraulic Elements also announced on Tuesday sales of 65.05 million levs in the period between January and August, up by an annual 46%.
In August alone, sales stood at 6.96 million levs and are expected to reach 7.6 million levs in September, the company said. Year-on-year sales growth is forecast to be 42% in the first nine months of 2022.
By 1217 CEST, shares in Hydraulic Elements and Systems were traded flat at 6.85 levs on the Sofia bourse.
The company is majority-owned by Bulgarian diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
