September 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Electricity System Operator (ESO) said on Monday that it has signed two measuring transformers purchase contracts, worth a combined 1.5 million levs ($836,000/767,000 euro), with the Bulgarian unit of German electronics and engineering group Siemens.
Both contracts were signed on September 16, ESO said in a notice.
Under the terms of the deals, Siemens Bulgaria will deliver a total of 120 metering transformers of 400 kV.
ESO received three offers for each of the two lots in its public procurement procedure, launched in March.
