January 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said on Tuesday that it booked a sales revenue of 36.9 million levs ($21.4 million/18.9 million euro) in 2018, just below the forecast it made last month.
The company's revenue increased to 34.9 million levs in 2017 from 33.7 million levs a year earlier.

In January 2019, Elhim Iskra expects to generate 3.43 million levs of sales revenue, the company said in a statement.
Last month, Elhim Iskra said it expected to record a sales revenue of 2.1 million levs in December that would bringing its total sales for 2018 to 37 million levs.
Elhim Iskra is part of blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
