January 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said that its sales dropped by an annual 9.48% to 33.4 million levs ($18.9 million/17.1 million euro) in 2019.
Elhim Iskra posted a gross profit of 502,000 levs in 2019, its said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

In December alone, the company booked sales of 1.89 million levs, higher than its forecast for monthly sales of 1.63 million levs.
Elhim Iskra expects to book sales of 3 million levs in January, down from its previously reported sales of 3.75 million levs in January 2019.
Elhim Iskra is part of blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
