April 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said on Friday booked sales revenue of 3.23 million levs ($1.9 million/1.7 million euro) in March, slightly above its forecast, and posted a gross profit of 114,000 levs in the third month of the year.
The company recorded sales of 3.86 million levs and a gross profit of 72,000 levs in March 2018, according to previously reported data.

Elhim Iskra generated accumulated first quarter revenue of 10.06 million levs and gross profit of 311,000 levs, the company said in a bourse filing.
The battery maker expects to book revenue of 3.20 million levs in April.
Elhim Iskra is part of blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
